Introduction
High school girl Chen Miao-shan and her classmates visit an abandoned amusement park late at night, where they encounter a group of college students on a similar adventure. The two groups go their separate ways since they don’t know each other. Unexpectedly, one of the boys in Chen’s party falls to his death, and a physical fight breaks out among the group as they try to shift the blame, during which they accidentally kill another classmate. Chen and the rest of her classmates decide to destroy the bodies and frame the college students, who later get into a car accident and fall off a cliff to their deaths. The series of deaths casts a dark shadow over the survivors.
Years later, Chen is plunged into fear when she hears one of the surviving classmates has died in an accident, and she realizes that something fishy is going on. Is it the souls of the dead who are seeking vengeance, or is someone else pulling the strings from the shadows to create these accidents? If there is a living person behind all this, what are they trying to do?
The story reveals the different forms of campus bullying, family problems, and describes the possible reasons for people to be malicious towards others, offering readers a glimpse into the dark yet realistic side of human nature.
