Introduction
Helena has lost both of her parents, and she and her younger brother are sent to an orphanage. Yet on the day that her brother is adopted, he is unexpectedly caught up in an accident. Having been struck by this series of traumas in close succession, the only thing Helena can do is to keep visiting the hospital and hope for a miracle.
One day, Helena fortuitously has the opportunity to attend the picture book signing of Mr. Wolf. She is thrilled to be able to meet her idol up-close. She even discusses her thoughts and feelings about creation with this author, who wears a wolf head mask. Much to her dismay, however, the writer reacts coldly to her, tearing apart her idealized image of writers and creative works.
Nonetheless, she is not entirely discouraged by this poor interaction. Instead, she finds herself gradually developing a teacher and friend relationship with this outwardly emotionless middle-aged man. Helena even discovers that Mr. Wolf has a tender side, too. Why does this author wear a wolf head mask to hide himself? Does Helena stand a chance of fulfilling her dream of becoming a creator?
This heartwarming story portrays a young girl and a middle-aged man chasing their dreams, keeping each other company as they overcome their childhood traumas and find themselves again. This title describes every step in the process of breaking through a writer's block, hoping to comfort readers and enable them to find an answer to their difficulties.
