The Sideline Livelihood of Modern Fighting Gods

R

After much entanglement, the rookie warrior god Lan Xia can finally intern under the guidance of his senior, Yue Ge. However, his idealized image of Yue Ge as an idol is shattered when he sees him in person. Despite this, Xia cannot help but be impressed by his skills on missions, and he becomes an enthusiastic fan of his powerful but lazy senior. The stage is set for a romantic tug-of-war between these two mismatched partners.

Set in modern Taiwan, this work is centered around the "divine generals" of Taiwanese Taoist folk beliefs, making it unique among many BL works. The descriptions of the protagonist's practice and training to defeat demons add to the fantastic adventure atmosphere and make the love story even more lively and vivid.
